Default Exhaust flow question

I'm making a intermediate exhaust section for the track without cats.

When I installed my MagnaFlow X pipe and cut the cats off the stock Intermediate section I had the stock H pipe section and flanges left over.

I'm going to use that left over and weld in a X pipe section and then straight pipes to fit into the headers.

My question is can I leave the stock H pipe in behind the welded in X pipe?

Cutting out the stock H will require me to rig up a jig in order for the pipes to stay in the right configuration (so the exhaust tips are even) while we weld in the X section.

You can install a Dr Gas X pipe right on the TPIS headers without the H pipe TPIS. If you haven't cut the factory H pipe you can make it so the entire system bolts together with SS band clamps. Here is what I have:
TPIS headers
Dr Gas 3" to 2.5" X pipe slipped over the collectors of TPIS
Factory H pipe slips into the X pipe.

No I only have 1 x pipe in the exhaust system
TPIS -> Dr gas X pipe -> factory H pipe -> corsa mufflers.
Need pics?

I like the FLP system just for the reason its completely bolt in. I would look at the Cartek 1&7/8 or the Grot 1 7/8 headers for a engine that big. Just have a shop weld 3" collectors on the headers and cats for a bolt in system. You definitely want 3" or 3.5" on a motor that big.
