I am going to put a TC and gears in my c5.....but the question is which ones...This vette is my only car and i take it on 100+ miles trip..every week...so from research i have found that the 3.42 and 2800TC are the best for me..is that true...what do you guys think
I think what you are proposing is a good solution. The TC is a little higher than what Jayson at MTI recommends, but it still sounds reasonable. I'm going with 3.42's and a 2600 TC in the near future.
Before we choose a gear setup/converter for a customer we want to know how much hp the customer plans on adding in the future and how will the car be used .. street/track both.. ?? :seeya
It will be used mainly in the street...I do not really car much for HP....The minut i can get 11.5 in the 1/4 mile....i will be happy.....after the TC & gear
I might add either a 100shot wet or a HC .....That all depends on money..so if in a month or 2 i can come up with 5k i will do the HC if not then i well do the 100 shot.....Thanx for the help

The Yank 3000 and and 3.42's would make a real nice combo for ya :seeya
