Default Car stinks after a hard run...
What's that burnt smell coming from? It went away after a while, but it was really strong after the run. :confused:

Does it kinda smell like eggs?.. If so its the gases or something like that from the cat. converter.

It's an M6, yes. The smell's gone by now, but it was quite strong at the time. :cheers:

Drag. I don't think it was the tire. I know that smell :) This had more of a metallic element to it.

Alex I know you got the rear end differential fixed, check for any leaks again. This happen to me and I got a smell from the rear, it was a leak again :mad . Good luck!!

I get what may be a similar smell, especially in reverse. How to diagnose the possibility of a dragging parking shoe???? :confused:

FNC80, Unfortunatly I've found this to be normal. I had it on my '00 6 spd coupe, (I thought there was something wrong too) and my '01 6 spd vert. Stinks to high heaven. It does get better as miles are put on , but the clutch lets out a stink if you slip it even a little. :U
