I just had the bridgestone pole positions put on. Not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. I read losts of posts about how much better these were than the run-craps and they were soooo right. Much better grip and most of all much, much quieter. I have heard this about alot of the other brands, so good luck. I didn't know just how crappy the run-craps were until I got something else.
I am getting ready to order the Kumho's myself, they are 215 a piece for 295-35-18 and they are equal in comparison to the other tires.
I burn up rear tires to fast to spend 300+ on them.
Of course I am about to roll 36000 miles and this will be my first set of tires.
Kumho has indicated introducing a HP runflat this spring. I checked with a Merchants Tire around here and they are clueless, DUH. I can't get any where on Kumho's website either. I really would like to get an update on availability.
Kumho Ecsta MXs are quiet, and quite sticky wet or dry. I have actually gotten better 60 fts on wet pavement than I got with run-flats on dry....I am very happy with mine.....
Im ordering the Kumho MX's for the fronts in 2 weeks for my car then a few weeks later getting the rears. I have heard alot of great things about these tires.
