a stock rear end!. How well do these go together? I need to get tires since I just put in my Yank ST3500. I was thinking about getting et streets but wanted to find out how many other people are running the same. I will be going to the new track here in Abilene Tx, when it opens in a couple weeks. I am going to see what it can do on street tires first but right after that I will be ordering tires.
I am running the ST3500 and 3.73 gears, I am also running H/C. But I can tell you 1st and 2nd are next to useless with street tires because of wheel spin if you try to launch hard. If you have the extra cash I would replace your 3.15 gears with at least 3.42 gears. They will give you better performance and better driveability. With a hard hitting converter like the ST3500 you will need at least DRs to get the full potential out of your setup. If your engine is internally stock BFG DRs will work nicely with your setup.
But I run E/T Streets, 150 shot, 3.73, PI 2800 Converter, and pulled best ever 1.49 60' times and no problems as of yet  Maybe about 100 passes or so last season
Really impressed with some of the numbers the C5's are putting down with no breakage. Don't know of one C4 stroker that is still in one piece with these kinda of numbers.
i ran 11.70 @ 130 shifting from 1 to 3, due to a bad 2nd gear syncro. I know that shift costs me at least .5. I am taking her to the track on Friday, hoping for a high 10 or low 11.
