Re: Valet Switch for the c5 (allegro)
If I'm not mistaken, those that have not properly installed the CLB had a "reduced engine power" signal. So, if one was to interrupt the CLB signal with a hidden switch it should put the car in VALET mode.
Although I never let anyone drive my vette. I just ask valet where I can park it or find another place to eat.

Cheap and easy way = do not valet park your car. I heard alot of horror stories involving high end sports cars and young valet attendants. Remember Ferris Bueller and his friend's dad's Ferrari?

I actually valet at a country club/golf course. One time i got into this aston martin db7 vantage volante i rev'd it up a little and bamm... nothing it had a valet switch and couldn't even break the tires loose....The best way to handle valet's is to not use them, or get yourself a good pimp cane and when you hand them the keys procede to pull your pimp cane back so they know you mean business. LOL
