PCM Program Update Yearly?
I am told that this is necessary for top performance. GM changes specs and parameters routinely for each model and you should get this update every year. Is this something that is solely done by GM or could this be done by any corvette repair facility.Does GM have the exclusive right to this? or does it market this info to other facilities. I guess the updated program could be downloaded via internet and then (via techII) uploaded to your car's PCM. How can you get the update, without going to a dealership?.

I installed FLP's this week, and was going to get my car dyno tuned this weekend. My local tuner informed me (via email) that he doesn't have the '03 software yet, and that it might be a week or two. I have an 03 Z06, and apparently the proggy is different than the 02's.
