Too much money, just "force" more air in there with nitrous :D For the amount of money they cost you will probably only see about a 25 hp gain, you can easily make that up with a jet change! :yesnod:
Re: LOOKING FOR LARGER INTAKE MANIFOLD (02Z06VETTE)
Has anyone tried the Edelbrock LS mainfold offered thru Summit? It is stated to be made of thick enough aluminum to allow a generous porting job. Please report back if any comments, I'm considering this for a stroker engine also. sj

Craig at GTP was working on a ported Edelbrock /LS6. Tests weren't completed last I checked (~jan. '03).
I have always been told that the alum gets considerably warmer, thus warmer air, and it cost considerable hp in air temps, I suppose if you could make it flow well enough to overcome the temp loss it would be great, but it would be better to have a plastic that flows better, I'm sure it would take considerable time and money to design and develop a better plastic intake several people are having some success with some porting and port matching the plastic so its probably just a matter of time before we start having some options.
Re: LOOKING FOR LARGER INTAKE MANIFOLD (NEPTUNEBILL)
The Hogan manifold is nice, but it is 3large ($3,000). I have heard GTP is working on the Edelbrock manifold. I heard they had some gains, I have not heard how much...
