Default Lowered, but Question/Problem

I finished lowering my car to the ends of the stock bolts last night.
When I got to the right front, which was the last one I had to do, the shock was in the way of getting onto the 10MM bolt head. After messing around with it for a while, I removed the shock. My leaf spring was already up some on that side, but the bolt was extremely tight. I kept squirting it, and put a bottle jack under just the spring, but it seemed to want to raise the whole car. Anyone else have this problem? The rest of the car was easy.

Uh, the shock should be in the same place on both front wheels.. if you got
to one side you should be able to do the same thing to get to the other!
Try putting the car on level ground. Jack under the front crossmember (be
careful about the pan, span 2 ribs with a block of wood. Remove the wheel on the side you want to adjust. Bottle jack the spring up a little (use a block of wood under the spring. Now you should be able to reach in a turn the adjuster, maybe with you fingers, it should not be hard. If it is, you jack the spring a little more.
