what would you do?
I have a few options with my new motor. I thought I had settled on one but I am not sure, so I need your advice. I am starting completely from scratch. I have no block or heads or anything.
1. 382 stroker; LS6 block; stage 2 LS6 heads; aftermarket cam; Lunati crank, rods, and pistons: 450rwhp/450rwtq + bulletproof bottom end(150 shot nitrous)
2. stock LS6 long block; aftermarket cam; LPE magnacharger: 470rwhp/425rwtq + 36k mile warranty.
3. 382 stroker; 6.0 iron block; stage 2 LS6 heads; aftermarket cam; Lunati goodies with 9.5 to 1 compression: 400rwhp/400rwtq but motor will be ready for a huge butt turbo in the future.
I am all over option #1. Its just that you can't spray 5th gear and I want to be fast past 150mph.
I have looked at the ATI procharger and other blowers. First off, the torque curve is horrible. Second, there are a lot of issues with belt slippage and such. I am also not too impressed with the Cerra turbo or the new turbo kit coming out.
