Well my stereo system is about complete next week the final touches will be put on. Its in the car workin but we estimate it weighs a bit over 300lbs... Yeah I know a LOT of weight. However its over the rear wheels which has helped traction.
Now I would like to add some performance mods. My car is stock except for the cold air screens that the previous owner installed.
I'm thinkin about takin off the factory box and strappin down a K&N filter... Any other tips?
Need the most performance for the buck out of the mods... Thanks for your help!!!
Re: Best Bang For the Buck Performance Mods... (AN1313)
Pulling hte lid of the airbox is an easy upgrade, and it is cheap. Thinggs after that start to add up. If you want to to do H&C w/ headers figure a budget of around $7K installed. If you area DIY'er you can shave that down some. Also, you can shop the parts around and save bit of money.
Gears are a good upgrade.
Headers depending on what you go with can help some and can cost between $700 and $2300.
