Default Z06 heads on LS1?
just a quick question, can stock z06 heads be used on an ls1? I'd liketo just get the z06 heads and cam and have some reasonable reliable horsepower.

for the price just have yours ported with a cam. Search the topics for heads and cam results. and you'll see what i mean. :cheers:

Yes, of course they can be used. The LS1 and LS6 are practically the same motor. Go for it.

I did it. Check my sig. Only I went with cam that is just a little more than the stock 2002 Z06. Everything works great together. Major problem is wheelspin.
