Default 2000 Power Duct Install Questions

I just got a High Flow Power Duct and a Blackwing Filter from West Coast Corvettes. The directions that came in the box said "disconnect MAT sensor plug from the drivers side of the factory air duct". I don't know what the MAT sensor is - or what it looks like. It also says "pull out MAT sensor with a pair of pliers"? Also "you will need to drill an 11/16th hole to accept the MAT sensor". "Be sure to drill the hole in the proper location"? Where is the proper location? "Reinstall MAT sensor grommet and MAT sensor"? Can someone explain this mod to a novice?

The MAT sensor is a plug that is attached to a wire that should be wrapped in a plastic protective tube. It is pluged into the driver's side of the stock air bridge. Just pull it straight out using the pliers as indicated in the instructions. The proper location to drill the hole is approximately in the same place as where it is on the stock air bridge. There may be a small flat place to drill the hole in the new powerduct (I'm not sure as some have this flat spot and some don't). Once you drill the hole, just push the sensor into the new hole until it catches. That's all there is to it.
