I had a rear spring replaced over a year ago due to a crack in it. Now it's starting to make noise. It sounds just like my rear sway bar needs to be relubed. I tried that and it hasn't helped. I can hear it going over bumps, jacking up the car, and when I let it down. I don't hear it in turns normally which also makes me believe it's not the sway bar.
Any suggestions? :chevy
My rear is doing this as well. I thought that it was a part that was not lubed, but then when I looked underneath, I found that the swaybar links' rubber/plastic coating was broken and had exposed the insies to dirt/crap.
So then I disconnected the link to find out if that was the problem.
Sure enough, it was causing the squeak.
I'm going to replace them when I do the Hotchkiss swaybars.
FWIW, the rear end was squeaking over speed bumps, and slow bumps. Sometimes I could make it squeak when I pushed down on the rear end.

I have the same symtoms, but I don't have the plastic endlinks, I have the newer style aluminum ones. Now that it's finally warm enough, I'll just climb under there and retorque everything, maybe something is too tight/loose.
