It's been a few weeks, so I've forgotten (old grey matter here). I just took my scoops down to Home Depot and fitted some on right there. Make sure you get lock washers as well.

yeah, home repo it is. It'd be nice to know though..I hate breaking into those baggies to see if a nut fits,:bb yeah right! :reddevil

There's enough loose nuts over there that you'll find one. I just make one of the orange guys find it for me...why do that work yourself??

I got to the cashier and she asked, "What the heck is that, a drier vent?" I said no, it's a Corvette brake screen and she said, "Seriously, it does look like a drier vent." :lol:

I bought mine at Auto Zone. I needed 8 nuts and they come 7 to the package. :mad
After get all the wrong stuff @ HomeDepot I went to Auto Zone. They had the right stuff but I said (because I had the kid behind the counter helping me) yeah how come these only have 7 nuts in here. they must have made an error. he opened a pack and said "yeah why would they only put 7 in a pack" Hey hey, I must have gotten by with one.
I do make a mental note of all business' the try to screw you without knowing it though. Cell phone companies are hign on the list, but so are my favorite grocery store and even WalMart.
Oh yeah also those guys that sell some plastic and screen called Z06 brake ducts for $165 without some nuts...your're on my list too.

Mine didn't come with them either. I just took the duct down to the local hardware store and matched the studs up with the right nuts and lock washers.

Let's be fair here. These ducts are original equiptment. Not after market kit stuff. You could have paid $210 plus shipping at Ecklers(no offense Ecklers) for the whole thing but that's alot for 8 nuts and washers that Home depot sells for $3.00. They are standard metric studs M5. easy and cheap to come by. I appreciate the guys here who can save me 20% on my mods :thumbs: .
If you are a do-it-yourselfer and cheap then you'll need to improvise occationally.
