Help Won't shift into reverse 1998 C5 12,500 miles
Out of the blue with no warning the shifter will not go into reverse. The safety that prevents you from shifting into reverse is on all the time. I tired turning the car on and off. Tired letting it roll slightly backwards (I have no idea why I did that. Must have been wishful thinking) Nothing works.
If anyone has any idea what to do please HELP!

Happened to me and it is a sudden failure of the lock-out switch=visit to the dealer for warranty repair, or a local trusted repair shop. It's nothing you did.
