About 6 months ago my check engine light came on for the first time since owning. Checked DIC and found P0410 PCM code. I reset it. Things were fine for a few months then it re-appeared. I re-set it. Now it seems to be coming on more frequently. The code does end with an "H C". I'm told this means it is a HISTORY code and nothing to be concerned about. But why does it keep lighting the Check Engine light? Am I clearing the code correctly by pressing the RESET button? Is there something else I need to do like pull the negative cable from the battery to clear the codes? HELP??????
Just what exactly is the P0410 AIR System Code telling me?
FYI = I do have a Blackwing and removed the MAF screen but that was over a year ago.

Check to see if there's anything is blocking the AIR system tube like a kink between the filter and the AIR pump.
You can also reset the PCM by putting the key in the on position (don't start the car), then pull the small pcm fuse, take the key out, wait a few minutes, put the fuse back in, and then start the car.
P0410 means that the air pump is not distributing air to the exhaust system. This distribution is vacuum controlled. The vacuum lines route under the battery tray...A leaky battery (even slight) will take out these vacuum lines every time... :yesnod:There is a remote chance that your air pump took a dump, but I see this code caused by a leaky battery frequently

I replaced the acid battery last year with an AGM and inspected the area for any damage. While I didn't see any that's not to say there wasn't any damage. I'm under warranty and will take it to my dealer. Thanks everyone.

Had the same code and did the re-set thing a number of times. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the air pump under the drivers headlight. That didn't fix it, so they replaced a relay. Haven't had the problem come back for will over a year now. :)
Hope this helps.
