depends what you want to do.. If 1/4 mile times are your goal get the converter/gears. I ran 12.17@114 with flp headers/cats/Vig3000/3.15s/LS6 intake. If I had 3.42s I could have got in the 11s..

If you do a large cam you will be disappointed with a stock converter and you will need tuning - I would do this AFTER you do the converter :)

100-150 shot is by far the easiest way to go fast but you will find it was too easy and will want to go quicker anyhow. Plus getting bottles filled is a pita :)

How safe would nitrous be on a 66k car ......and would you recomend the ls6 on a stock heads and cam??????
Did you notice a difference in power with the addition of ls6 intake, thanx

I am looking to spend some money on my 2002 automatic corvette as well. I currently have corsa exhaust and i am running a 13.24. I want to increase my 1/4 mile time drastically. Any ideas on what exactly i should do in order to see huge gains in my time? Headers? Torque converter? Intake? PLease help. Thanks

I didnt pick up much with the LS6 intake when I put it on but I knew I was doing cam and heads down the road so I went ahead and did it.

I put all the mods on my car except the heads/cam at 76K. I did the heads/cam at 79K. If the car is running good I wouldnt be too worried about a 100 shot..

2000 C5s do not come with the LS6 intake, it's the same as the 97-99s. LS6 intakes wasnt standard until 2001 and even the early 2001s have the intake whistling problem.

If you are gonna do a heads/cams job, go with the intake manifold. I rather would spend it in a 3.90 or 4.10 rear end.

Your siq shows you already have an LS6 intake. :skep:

I would get the TC and gears.

I just got the LS6 intake last week....I am thinking between a 100shot wet, and a TC + tuning....which one would give the best result.....

Screw the wet shot! It may sound cool but do the TC and gears. If your motor has 60k plus mile then consider pulling it and a rebuild will make the spray seem Gay!!!!!!!! :reddevil

c5 devil, what made you choose that over a cam because i'm going throught the same problem right now. I'm either going to get a cam or TC and gears? If you don't rag on your car to much is your tranny going to hold up for alot of miles?? One last question who is doing the work?

thanks

tom
