My 98 coupe will do the same thing if I try to over ride the "auto" setting on the dual climate control. Now I just go right to "auto," and set the desired temperature. Let me know if there is a way to use just the "heat" without the AC coming on. I like to use the car without the roof, and would like to get some hot air on those cool N.Y. nights.

Is the temp reading below 40 degrees?? A/C comp won't come on. If you try to manually turn it on, it will blink and shut off.
You need to move down here to Houston, mine hardly ever blinks!! :D

thanks guys...I tried it yesterday in 50 degrees and it was fine...I had been concerned that my recent install of LS6 intake left ac hose crimped(seem to recall posts of that issue)....
