Well, my '98 won't start. I'm getting a 10-PCM No Control message. Anybody know what this means (other than the computer's not working...)
All of the other error messages seem to be related, for example the traction control system is reporting loss of signal from the PCM, etc.
I've tried to reset everything (battery), check the fuses and check as many connections as possible for looseness / corrosion.
Any other ideas before I have it towed to the dealer?
Thanks
Josh
Nothing that looks too bad, although I haven't gotten all the way into the computer bay - just removed the panel behind tha wheel. It does look a bit weathered, but not terrible. I do plan to go through that area as much as possible , check ground commections, etc. more thoroughly.

Is the battery fully charged? I have seen some stored vehicles (not Vettes) get moisture in the connector terminals of modules, and even in inline connectors. If a full battery does not do the trick, I would remove the PCM, and the connectors and look for corrosion and/or moisture. Last resort, spray some WD-40 on the terminals. WD-40 is a great moisture remover. Then try again, if nothing, it might be time for a tow truck, or someone else may have had this happen to them.
Just some ideas... :banghead:
