I have been to the track a few times the past few weeks. Out of all the times i have been, most of my 1/4 mile times have been about a 13.33. However, my best 60 foot was a 2.097. Many times it was worse. Is there an easy way that i can improve this? Will a torque convertor improve this time a lot? If so, what kind seems to work really good? Thanks for the help.
3000+ torque converter and traction will give you an easy 1/2 second in the 1/4 mile. Gears will help more - most bang for the buck thing you can do for an A4 car..
Do a search on torque converters and you will be even more confused then ever. Find someone whose car runs what yuo want to run and see what they are using and go from there.

Thanks for the advice. I am interested in a torque converter. What is the difference between a 2800, 3000, 3200, etc stall. Which one will give me a faster time? What are the pros and cons? Thanks for the help.
