Default Help with electrical?

About a week ago I posted that I had a lazy headlight that did not come up all the time. Well, now the headlights don't come up most of the time. If I cycle the lights enough they will finally come up. Also, I noticed today for the first time that the reading on my radio is slightly flickering. My car just ran out of its extended warranty because of mileage. Is this going to be expensive? Any help is appreciated.

Sure sounds like the motor gears stripping.....Many of us have had to replace the motor assembly. Don't know about the display though.....

1st,make sure that the battery cables are tight :yesnod: The headlamp module is very sensitive to a voltage drop, which may also be causing your radio to flicker :yesnod:

C-5 Tech,

You are right. I recently put PIAA's on my car and the rubber on the negative battery cable had folded under a bit not allowing me to completely screw in the connection. Tightened them last night. Now both lights work but the left one makes a bad noise after it goes down. Looks like it is time to change the motor. The left light was lazy before I put on the PIAA's. Radio has stopped flickering. Thanks. :hurray:
