BBK shortie headers

Forum sponsor Zip Products show above, but state it will only work on the 2000 model.Why? Seems like they would fit 97-00. I couldn't find an e-mail address for them or I would ask them directly....

Don't even waste your time, save up a bit more cash and spring for the long tubes.

Texas is as bad as Ca. when it comes to emissions...Big discussion on Ls1.com, including a very promising dyno and track results using these headers....

NJ isn't so hot either. I don't know about Texas, but is their no way you could slide through with the help of a buddy or something?

The shortie headers do nothing. I put them on and replaced them with long tube headers and high flow cats. That was worth doing.

What are you talking about.I just got my '00 coupe with a 112 lsa cam and LGM LT's inspected and passed with flying colors.In fact my emissions read the same as a stock motor!!So whoever is telling you,you won't pass emissions testing is completely WRONG.Also,I live in Houston,so they're not going to let us just slide by.
