I'm thinking about getting front rotors in about a month or so. I've decided to go with the Hawk HPS pads. Right now i'd say the rotors i'm thinking about the most are the Power Slot rotors (250ish for the fronts). Pretty much i've decided on slotted and not crossed drilled. Another set of rotors i had looked at were The Brake Man ConvOEM (like 400ish for the fronts) here's a link http://www.thebrakeman.com/convo_e_m_ I wonder how they would perform and does anyone think the weird shape would effect the pad wear/contact.
monmouth county, i dont want anything that's cross drilled and aren't the baer eradispeed's cross drilled? I dont want them to crack on me... if the holes were forged it'd be a different story but forged hole rotors are outta my price range.
i am in the market for some too since my stock ones are warped but im NOT up to paying an arm and a leg for them. i dont do any track racing much anymore so i think the nicest looking ones that WONT crack and WONT dirty my wheels as much be my best choice

I was asking all these same questions. I plan on doing some mild racing with my car, and I wanted something that would hold up. After looking at lots of options and checking people's opinions, I decided to go with the powerslot rotors and hawk HP+ pads. I will be installing them this weekend, hopefully.
I was very tempted by the eradispeeds. But, it seemed that everyone that that loved them loved them for their looks, and didn't do much hard driving. The guys that actually raced their eradispeeds all seemed to complain that they cracked right away. I hear that over and over no matter which cross drilled rotor it is.
Personally, I'd imagine the stock rotors would do just fine. Its all in keeping the brakes cool. The stock rotors would be fine with hot pads and excellent ducting. Besides, even if they don't last, they're cheap enough to replace often.
