Default Sparco EVO seat users

I am getting ready to order seats, and have a few questions. I like the EVO's and the Roadsters from Sparco, both seats measure over 19" wide, but when I measure from the trans tunnel to where the seat belts mount on the floor, there is only 18". There is 20" up front, but where the seat belt sticks out could be a problem. I have read where guys have EVO's in C5's, anyone got any pics of them mounted in a C5? I would to see pics of the mounts also, it doesnt have to be just the EVO's, any aftermarket seat pics would be appreciated. :)

I am picking up a set of Evo 2's this week and using Hardbar's C5 custom mounting hardware (when it gets here  ?) I'll post pics after the install, but it might be a few more weeks. Try posting in the Autocross/roadrace section, I'm sure that you will get someone over there with pics of Evo's installed.

I bought a set of Sparcos last week. I will be installing them in my car friday. I will be taking pictures this weekend. I did not go with the Evo's. I went with the Pro 2000 do to the better side support. I talked to Gary at hardbar and he said that those would fit in my car. Dennis and Gary are both great to deal with at hardbar. They have great products. I will be getting my seatrails this thursday or Friday.

Will do. The only thing is the seude that I ordered does not come in for another week. So I am installing the seats while I wait. I am way to impatient.

I like the EVO 2's also, but they are even wider, so I was a little scared of those. How much did the Hardbar brackets run you?

XCELR8, do you have any "hookups" for seats? I have been watching e-Bay, and there are some good deals on there.

Thanks guys!!

I am using the EVO2 with the Hardbar mount.
The seat JUST fits but I had to leave the factory belt out.
Not a big deal since I have a 6pt belt installed.
The seat is great. I have spent 2 hours at a time driving in it with no complaints. On the street or on the track it has been comfortable and supportive.
Just remember that getting in and out will not be as easy as the factory seats.

Can the stock seat belt still be used with the EVO seat? I would like to at least try it as a daily seat.

I used a sparco evo2 plus seat all the time on my c6 and surprisingly it was a very comfortable seat. Plus it held me in incredibly well.
I will be installing the seats into my c5 and will also do a quick release steering wheel as the stock wheel makes it even more difficult to get in and out of the car.

Were you able to use the stock seat belt in the C6 with the Evo seat?
