Default CORVETTE MOTOR

Well the decision is in after 6 months of debating the fact that whether or not driving my vehicle at 85 mph will float the valves. Well GM is following the word of a area representitive advisor and deny'd my claim!! I wil post the story below but...........THIS IS REALITY!!! THIS IS WHAT GM DOES TO THERE CUSTOMERS TO GET AN OUT!!!! I am looking for another motor to put in it and get rid or it so any help would be appreciated.

Story( not exact story due to I cannot find it on the site) ...........I purchased this vehicle from Dorian Ford of Clinton Township, MI. The purchase date of this vehicle was 07/05/01. Now I am the second owner of this vehicle which I have been told was purchased in Aug of 99.

Up until 2 months ago I have been very happy with my purchase but now tragedy has struck. I was driving on the freeway at 85 mph and got off a exit ramp to come to a light and the vehicle stalled. Now I tried to start and wouldn't so I had towed to Michael Chevrolet. The Vehicle has been at the dealer for approx. 6 weeks now with a engine defect that cannot be diagnoised and I am getting no where from them or Chevy direct. I have spoken to a Lindell Bollinger from 866-942-4368 ext 47256 about this matter. The dealer is telling me that I have to authorize the removal of the motor on this vehicle and that is going to cost me $2000-$3000 for the removal of this engine and to figure exactly what is wrong with this vehicle. Now the dealer has spoken to the service representitive that goes from dealer to dealer and he would like to know EXACTLY what broke on the motor before they warranty the vehicle. Now this vehicle has 35,000 mile on it and is over on time which is news to me. I take very good care of this vehicle and maitain it very very well. I am finding this to be ludicris of Chevy to allow this service advisor to make the desicion that he has made. I feel that I did nothing wrong to this vehicle to warrant a total engine failure. Now I have purchased this vehicle with the faith of this being a "Extreme Muscle Car" which has a total motor defect 53 days out of my factory warranty. This all seems pretty strange to me that I spend $40,000 on vehicle and 1 year later be putting $10,000 in motor repairs into this vehicle.

I've always been a avid Chevy purchaser and will NEVER purchase another Chevy product again. I'm sorry guyz ..............how can I take this treatment and have any respect for this company!!!

Well.....if it can happen to me it can happen to you.............just keep in mind what GM will tell you!!! Well........GM ya got my $40 k!!!!! Well.........NUFF SAID.........I just want the nightmare to end!!!

CHECK THIS LINK YOU MAY FIND IT TOO BE INTERESTING!!!

I have a complete 2001 C5 engine here with only 9,000 +/- miles on it
Complete long block with or without the intake. This was a take out from a C5 owner who wanted a Crate Z06 engine in his car.

Let me know.
