Do you hear your pushrods going up and down? When I get on my new motor I can hear a clicking that gets faster as the car gets faster. The mechanic said it is the hardened pushrods. Any views?

However, I personally do not believe to this diagnose but rather guesstimate a sticky Hydraulic Lifter (GM OEM ?).
A current and well-known (little) issue with LS1/LS6 Engines. I also wait for the final verdict on my Car and I will have to act before my GM-warranty sees the end - end of april this year. My Car does this sort of "ticking noise" after cold start and until everything reaches normal operating temps. The noise also varies with engine-rpm and disappears after warm-up.
I am sure I bought a C5 and NOT sort of a sewing machine......... :cry
