Ok Guys I am biting the bullet and opting for gears to get the best bang for the buck mod wise....something I am hoping to feel sotp wise......gonna go with 3:90's and have the FLP's installed at the same time!
I will keep ya posted on how the install goes and what the overall satisfaction with mods/install is......I am also going to post a sound clip after install!
If all goes well its gonna be supercharger time in the summer with ECS!

Oh boy, are you in for a pleasant supprise. I have a stock 98 coupe except for the usual bolt ons. I did the 4:11 rear and couldn't be happier. It really makes the car come alive. How it feels like the sports car it was intended to be. East Cost Supercharging will give you satisfaction guaranteed.

Ok guys here is my update...The 3:90's are in and so are the FLP's....I have not gotten on the car since install..... until after the gears are broken in with some mileage.
The installers are a class act over at ECS...Thanks Chris & Doug!
The gears seem GREAT...I am glad I listened to Chris instead of doing the 3:73's Cartek offered saying the 90's were too noisey.......will update once I tack it up on sotp difference!
The FLP's......Installers at ECS fantastic.......the FLP product would not seal up even with that thick cardboard gasket FLP supplies to make up for an uneven/far from straight flange.....it took exorbent amounts of RTV to seal it up....time will tell if it will hold up......Too bad hindsight is 20/20....I should have had ECS put in TPIS LT's with Random Tech super high flow cats and xpipe.......They line up straight and can use the GM gaskets with them...unlike the FLPs I am PRESENTLY stuck with......for now!!
