Caliper Question [Big Pic]
So i am removing the passenger side rear caliper when i hear something fall. I look down in the bucket where the brake fuid is going and i see this. We looked at both rear calipers and couldn't locate where it may have come from. The only other thing i can think of is that i ran over it at some point and it got stuck up there. Please Help

Hi,
I also do not recognize that part.
Looking at a mirco fiche the only thing that resembles it it part of the parking brake assembly.
Does that system work correctly; maybe put the brake on and go forward and backward see if it holds or makes any noise.

Looks kinda like a special type of nut that screws inside of a housing of some sort. Maybe used on some kind of equipment to adjust bearing pre-load or something. I wouldn't worry about it. It definitely doesn't appear to have come from your car.
