Patch a runflat????

Brother had a screw near the outter edge of his rear runcrap on his 02 vert. Can it be repired?

If it's in the sidewall area, it can't be patched. Safety hazard. A reputable tire dealer would let you know.

I had a nail in the tread but near the crown of the tire, NTB said it couldn't be fixed and they had the tire in stock and for only $370 they could have it on it no time.

I got a second opinon and they said it can be fixed. They charged $50 and fixed it.

Thanks for your replys.

I can't get anything right. It was a front tire. I guess they got a friend who got them a deal. $275 out the door mounted and balanced for a brand new F1 EMT. I think tirerack wanted a little less than that shipped. Local GY house here wanted $379 installed for the front tire. :crazy:
