Default How Do You Replace A Thermostat?

Hello once again I wanted to know if someone can help me with some very in detail instructions on how to take out the old thermostat and install a new one from start to finish. Thanks

There's nothing to it. The thermostat is integral with the housing. Remove the radiator hose from the thermostat housing, remove the two 10mm bolts on the housing and install new thermostat housing. There's no gasket- it's O-ring sealed. You can catch and reuse the fluid if you want- or just refill, that's what I do.

K.I.S.S. Theory KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

An excellent description and easy to follow. Even the mechanically challenged like mysef could do this.
