heads/cam

im looking for a heads/cam package that will be streetable ,pass emissions in MA and be reliable. is there suck a package?? any suggestions out there? can i install them myself or does the engine have to be takin out of the car? :confused:

We need to know your desired results to give some advice. Like, how much HP gain? What you have already meets your requirements :jester

Call up any tuner MMS, ARE, Cartek etc. and tell them what you want. How streetable it is will be determined by your cam size. But typically the bigger the cam is, the more power you get.

id like to be at around 400rwhp, but if i cant get it reliable or pass emissions then ill settle for less. for money wise id like to stay around 2k or less :cheers:

Arent the headers alone almost $1500 plus install?

Hi John, the stainless steel long tube system is 1995.00 and is complete all the way to the catback ready to bolt right up.

He meant he has the FLPs already.

I would find a tuner close to you that can do the mods, that way if there is a problem you wouldn't have to send the car across the country to get it fixed. Just my opinion.

I would go with the following:
Total Engine Airflow S1.5 heads 11.0:1 Cr
Comp Cams 222/226 114lsa 110icl
LS6 intake
TPIS long tubes
Dr gas x pipe
ASP underdrive pulley

It will make awesome power and be a blast on the street, should pass emissions as long as you have cats.

What rwhp would that be capable of if tuned perfectly?
I have all those pieces except my cam is a Comp 224/224 .581lift and 113lb & I have no cats, larger MAF, and blackwing
My heads are same 11.0:1CR just curious before I take it upto Orlando.
