PCM nightmare averted...(Long)
Put the car on the dyno at LG motorsports and they ran some baselines and attempted a few chages and nothing happened. :mad . Called the dealer to get the story and they said that they would not be able to reflash over a locked program  . After a few days of trying to find a solution , I decided to give another local dealer a shot. The service tech said that they had run into that problem before and that they were sure they could reflash it. Took the car in today waited an hour and then got the car back. Spoke to the service tech and he said that he was sure that it had taken the reflash because it was not idling and ran like a dog. :) ( a good sign). Got in the car, turned the key, the car started, lived a brief life and died. It died every chance you gave it, at stoplights, slow turns. It took a tricky combination of brakes and throttle to keep the car idling. So all seems well and tomorrow I should have a fully tuned car. So for all the local people, Huffines Chevrolet in Lewisville can reflash "locked" PCM's.
