Default Easy Entry question

I have the Easy Entry option on my 99 C5 but, when I remove the key from the ignition, the driver's seat doesn't go ALL the way back. It does go back some, but just not all the way. Is this normal or do I have a faulty sensor somewhere? Thanks.

I have the same problem. I posted a similiar question a month ago but didn't get any hits back. I hope this one does better. Any answers out there please?

I haven't experienced that problem with the memory option for the seats, but I have had other squirrelly problems. So I can't offer any advice with your current problem.

One hint I may leave with you has to do with having the seat move all the way back when you want to exit the car while leaving the car running.

There are 3 memory positions on the Vete... (1) first driver - that's you (2) second driver, and (3) which is a combination of pressing both 1 and 2 together. I use the (3) when I want to leave the car running but I want to get out. Just program it's postion to be full back. It make life a bit easier.

Had this happen a couple of times as well.
Solution is: Drive the seat manually to the end limit. It will stop one time where the computer thinks it is at its limit. Then move it manually again untill it reaches the end.
Now remove your key , reinsert and drive the seat manually to your preferred driving position (including mirrors, cabin temp. etc...) and store the settings in memory.
Repeat for all keyfobs.
Should be fine now.

Hope this helps.
