Anyone use these? I have a set of Prothanes that will be a PITA to install. The VBP ones look like they'll be a breeze. The only thing I am worried about is the harshness of the ride. I know it will make it handle better, but what about the little bumps?

Re: VBP Poly bushings (C5B)
They are all a major job to install and if you don't want the ulimate handling and worry about little bumps leave the stock ones in there. What mods do you have now? There are better and easier mods to do first. You will need an alignment also. Removing the old bushings is big work. :seeya
I have looked at them and they don't look that difficult to do (I did the ones on my 4x4 Suburban). The issue is regarding the upper control arm ones. Have to burn off the old ones to put the Prothanes on. The VBP product comes with the entire assembly ready to slide into the upper control arm. I like feeling the small bumps, the concern is around HOW they feel being that they are graphite impregnated. I have never used or (even touched) a graphite impregnated polyurethane bushing. So far, I love the poly feel.
If I am going to do them, I want to do them when I slap on my Z51 springs (need to finish converting to Z51) so I can get the alignment once instead of twice.
I am fairly mechanically inclined... I rebuilt the entire front driveline on that same Suburban. Again, it isn't about the work, it's about the feel. I KNOW it will be more stable through the turns.

Re: VBP Poly bushings (C5B)
The hard part is getting the old ones out. I don't think I like the idea of burning them out. If you want handling go for it but I would do T-1 bars first along with shocks.
I am not mechanical therefore did not do the install, but had the graphite impregnated (delrin) done on the upper/loer control arms. I love the difference; everything is just a bit tighter, ride is not at all harsh IMHO but you can feel the road more. I think it was a great mod and I am just a street driver.
