Hey Hal El,
i suggest you should use the "search" function. This topic has been discussed many many times here, and there were some pretty good links and explanations on how to do.
I did this job a few weeks ago. Pretty simple and straight forward. One hint: use an oil pump (electro or manual) to pump the oil into the tranny. This will save you a lot of dissorder under the car.
