So you didn't install any actual parts? You just had a tune done and gained 21 hp. Is that right?

congrats!

Just an FYI, after my first 2 dyno runs, I gained about 5 rwhp/and 7 rwtq by just getting the car warmed up.

Are the gains at the top end or can you actually feel it low rpms as well? After my header install, it feels like I lost low end torque but my dyno proves that I gained top end HP and Torque (after 3.5k rpm)

Did you mean to type 338.3 TQ on your follow up runs???? Cause to me 328.3 and 328.3 look the same!!!!!

Are these dynojet or mustang dyno numbers?

Whoever told you not to doesn't understand the benefits of tuning after adding the headers....nice gains....can you post the before and after graphs?

There are way too many variables involved to really guess at and E.T. gains. Best way to find out is to hit the track.

Should be good for at least .2 and +2mph. With 330 hp you should be able to trap over 110, even with 3.15s.

Next mod? cam! more bang for the buck than gears/TC.

devil,

I know you weren't aware of this but you could have gotten Chris to download all your dyno runs on a floppy and then download Dynojet Viewer from the dynojet site....that wya you could have them for record and easily post them....

Can someone explain this to me? I would have expected another 20-30rwhp from his mods.

I know all dyno's are different and altitude/temp may be a factor, but I have to ask... Are automatics really that much more inefficient than manual transmission cars? Is my car just really strong? OR does the auto not have a 1:1 gear to run in and have to run in a slight O/D condition?

Reason I ask is I put down those numbers with just a vararam and stingers while running a bit warm (about 200*). It was done in Mobile, AL (close to sea level) and about 75* outside.

Something just doesn't add up to me???????
