Replacing manual door lock and unlock switch?
Sounds like you might mean the manual switch that is part of the door handle.
If you mean the power lock switch, the whole panel is serviced as a unit.
You lift up on the rear of the switch with a small flat bladed tool, lift the switch out, unplug it and replace it with a new one.
Why do you think it's bad?
There is a computer in there too, the switch is just an input to the computer.
Tell us your symptoms.

Any suggestions? The lock tab on the right door moves somewhat to the unlock command from the drivers door but not full stroke enough to actually unlock.
I am worried that should I suffer the same failure on drivers door I will truly be locked out of car! I am told there is a module in both doors that controls this function. (No codes)
Any ideas anyone??????????
Thanks
Jack
If the lever moves slightly with an unlock press on the drivers control, the signal is getting to the PDM/RDCM (Passenger Door Module/Right Door Control Module) and the module is trying to operate the actuator.
It's quite likely a failing actuator.
Especially if the window works okay.
