Changing Tire Size, Hazardous?

There is a down side that is NEVER talked about when changing tire sizes, the ABS/TCS system.
When you change the tire sizing on c5, this changes the rotational circumference of the wheel. This, in turn changes the rotational speed of the wheel sensor reluctor wheel. This changes the information given to the ABS/TCS control module.
Why is this bad????? Your ABS/TCS is calibrated and programmed to react to a given speed, and given information. If that information is changed or modified, as when tires are changed, the computer may not react correctly in a ABS/TCS event. This means that when you might need the antilock brakes, or the traction control, or the active handling, the computer may think it sees something that it does NOT and not compensate correctly.
This is why I do NOT recommend changing of tire sizes when tires are changed, as this could create a safety issue.
All the best, c4c5!

'Tis good info though for those who don't know.
