My fronts are great..rears are wearing fast as hell...its not like I am doing burnouts or racing..anyone else have this problem?? I drive aggresively sometimes but man there is a huge difference.
I changed my rear firestone runflats at about 25k and the fronts have a lot of life in them yet. not sure why. also, my rear right was completely bald, while the rear left had slight tread left.
Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the rear tires are doing all the pushing.
Just my 2¢.
G.
PS. I have the same happening on my 99. :iagree: :steering:
After about 20,000 miles, less tread on the rear than the front. 7/32 vs. 8/32. Doesn't sound like as big of a difference as some of you are experiencing. This includes a couple track days, which is when most of the tread that has worn away probably did wear away. I'm a very easy driver on the street.
My OEM rear tires have 12 k on them and they are just about done....but , I rotate them often, w/ my right foot  The fronts still look almost like new.
