what is the advantage of a "true" dual w/crossover vs. a dual to single, does it make a difference? Mixing/pulses/scavenging/sound???

C5 is true dual with semi cross over :yesnod: Add an X pipe and you have full cross over.
True dual has less exhaust back pressure than dual to single :yesnod:

There is a long boring mathematical formula for flow. The most important variable is the radius of the pipe. Radius is to the fourth power. A 4" diameter pipe does not flow 4 times better than a 1" pipe. It flows 16 times better. As an example: Two full length 2" pipes, as in a true dual setup, will flow much better than duals going into one 3" pipe (like on the F-bodies).
