MAF Cleaning

Looking for suggestions on how to clean the MAF sensor. What cleaner, what techniques. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I remember someone talking about using an electric parts cleaner to clean it up. I think...? :confused:

Go to NAPA or another parts store and buy a can of Electrical Connector Cleaner, it is the correct way to clean electrical devices including sensors. It has a hi evap rate and no left over residue.

Electronic parts cleaner from Auto Zone and spray the ***** out of it. It will evaporate with no resedue.

Here is a previous thread reply (from http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=530500).

Thanks everybody for the input! I cleaned my MAF last nite with a pump sprayer filled w/ 91% isopropyl alcohol and 30 q-tips. There was definitely some sort of gunk! All the q-tips turned black!!!
Last but not least!!! This might sound crazy, but I polished my MAF with my dremel and polishing wheel w/ a slight amount of metal polish! Reason why? The MAF is now screenless and I noticed that there was some burrs when they pulled the MAF out of the casting mold....NOW ITS SLIPPERY SMOOOTH.
