Well what's next.....I need something that would not be more than 2k and that can help me on the street mostly and on the track once in a while....I am talking about 1/4 mile here...Cam, gears, TC......It;s my only car so i don't want to go exterem..thanx
Ahhh to have play money! I see a lot of automatic guys swear by a good TC and a aet of gears (3.42?). Also there is a current thread claiming 50 hp from just a cam swap! - Combine those 3 items and your new name will have to be Tire Shredder!
Next time it'll probably help to make your topic have a subject thats a bit less vague than "now what". Nobody is gonna come in here to see what you're yappin about with a topic like that.
A converter and a nitrous kit are my vote. If nitrous is out, do headers and a converter. The converter is the key.

Depends on your long term goals and if want drag time speed or what.
If your looking for good 1/4 times go with a torque converter and gears. I stuck with my 3.15 gears because I do enough highway driving and I have an A4 that I didn't want to be 300 rpm's higher in the "resonance" area for my setup.
If you can afford to, get 3.42 gears 1000$ and a TC for 600-800$.
If your 2k budget includes labor, then your stuck with only one.
In which case if you REALLY want TQ and gears, WAIT.
Good luck!
As for your Q on cam - depends again on your goals. If your happy with just the power of a cam setup, than a good cam kit (800$) and labor will be < 2k.
