Stupid Question...Blackwing
Can you use K&N cleaner on the Blackwing or do I have to buy the Blackwing stuff?? Seems to me it would be the same.

Not a Stupid question at all..
I actually have k&n products on my other "toys" and have a few bottles of the cleaner/oil and was wondering the same.
Mostly Likely - the difference is in the coloring, who wants a Blue blackwing with RED k&n oil on it? it would look dirty all the time!

:nono: Nope, don't do it. Blackwing's filter element is completely different from the K&N filter element. Get some Donaldson air cleaner solution and oil. But feel free to give me your K&N cleaning stuff, if you need to chuck your K&N stuff. :crazy: :yesnod:

I have the BlackWing on my vette. I bought the oil/cleaner made specifically for the filter(BW). I wouldn't use K/N. Why? because if that was the case, then BW wouldn't have made an oil/cleaner, right? Stick to the BW product. :seeya
