When you turn the key what happens:
1) nothing, totally silent
2) clicking noise
3) motor turns over but does not start
4) motor turns over, pops, but does not start
5) motor turns over, starts, then dies
Needs a little bit more info.

Check the codes. I had a starting problem which turned out to be the key cylinder not reading the "pellet" on the key properly. If his security light flashes on the dash, this could be the culprit. Codes should identify the problem better.

What did you do to correct the problem you have. I also have the same problem you described. But mine is sporadic, doesnt happen all the time. I have tried to clean the cylinder with electrical cleaner and have cleaned the pellet on the key, but problem still pops up occasionally. Please help me out by telling me what was done to correct and who did it.....I see we both live in the DFW area. Thanks alot.
