Default Do LS1 heads got worn by time?

I know this is a stupid question but my C5 got 50K miles so I wanna replace my LS1 head with a 1700 miles 2002 LS1 head so I can put a after market cam, springs, push rods, retainers stuff on with it later.
Or I don't need a new LS1 head and just replace those springs, pushrods, and retainers?
Thanks in advance for your advises.

Valve guides, seats, and springs will "wear" or age with time yes. One thing sometimes nice to replace is valve stem seals also. But most of the time, just swapping the appropriate springs and whatever other parts (locators, retainers, locks) needed to make the springs work should be fine, so its really up to you.

sounds like you have the entire new assembly, so I would swap the whole things. You have to remove the heads to change valves, anyway. However, that being said, I doubt your 50k miles heads have any appreciable wear at this point in their life. Seems like a lot of trouble unless you are doing the cam etc now.
