Default Stock Height?

Does anyone know (or can measure) the stock height from the ground to the edge of the fender over the front and back wheels? I started the lowering process and forgot to get my baseline :hat

Try this link.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=278529

Easy to find it by clicking onto "Search", typing in "stock height", "archieve", "C5 Tech/Performance", by "Topic Title" and about 7 answers popped up.

I was on AOL this morning from someone else's house and I could not get the Search function to work. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Mine sat at 27 9/16" in the front and 28 7/16" in the rear before lowering......but car was 5 1/2 years old with the Z51 suspension. After lowering.... 26 15/16" and 28 1/16" respectively.

They're all different. The suspension is set based on certain criteria (like options and equipment) at the factory before the car rolls out. My experience on the Forum has led me to believe that no two Corvettes are exactly the same. My 2002 was originally setup like a 4x4 from the factory while my 1999 was not. Good luck with your lowering.

Allan,
The factory ride height is measured at 4 points underneath the car, not at the fenders.
Most of us just set the height where it looks best.
