Default Installing Rear Side Marker Lens???

Bought me a set of the yellow rear marker lens' and can't figure out how to install these guys? Need you guys who have done this mod to weigh in here. Appreciate the help and thanks.

Joe I think you just take off the carpet panel from inside the car to get at it.

The carpet panel on the left and right are held by a easily pulled clip on top and the wing nut that holds the cargo net in place on the bottom.

I changed mine through the taillights, remove the taillights and reach in. I believe it's a 10 or 11 mm socket.

Exactly...remove the outermost taillights and you can reach in to the nuts that hold the lens to the body. That's the procedure in the service manual as well.

You can also remove the wheel well liner to get to them, more involved, but easier to access if you have short arms. :cheers:

Hi there guys, took your advice and did the install through the outermost taillight openings; worked like a charm. Thanks for the help.

I didn't install the amber sidemarkers but the clear markers. You have to do it by removing the rear tail lights and you can also access the retaining nuts from underneath. I have helped change them on Coupes and know it is far more difficult to change on Verts.
