If I take off the wheels are there any connections from the wheel to the car to consider? If so, what's the procedure? THANKS! :confused:
The post above is correct, these sensors are 'radio', thus no wires.
The question for you is what was your concern - taking the wheels off, or attempting to remove the tires from the wheels? If you are taking the tires off the wheels, it is a normal procedure (as associated with any other tire removal).
If you are changing wheels, the sensors are a 'part' of the valve stem. Removal of the stem 'cover' will release the internal unit from the wheel.
Be sure to NOT over- torquing the stem cover, or possible damage to the 'washer' will result, or worse yet, it is possible to break the stem away from the sensor.
