START UP II !!!!
Oil in the PCV Mod catch filter on the first spirited drive.
Some pre detonation if I accelerate without down shifting.
Got the new MCM Hood on also. Cruising temps have decreased a couple of degrees!? No excessive heat in the wheel well.
I'm pleased. Cheers to all. :chevy
jmX - great web cite! the visuals made me say... I want & can do that!
phil97svt - Phil originally turned me on to the TEA heads (I think he is a covert salesman for them!) He helped me more than that advice also!
Patches - great assisstance with the double rollmaster timing chain configuration! In hindsight...I wish I had gone with a stronger single timing chain e.g. Katech. This would avoid having to contract out the "tooling" of the harmonic balancer or UD pulley to compensate for the additional width of the dual timing chain (3mm). PIA dealing with machine shops!
AllcammedUp - Are you out there guy? Great help with the Air Tube complications...and more!
Chris@speed demon - how to get a stuck 98 waterpump separated from the block!
See5 & Av8ter - HIT IT Brother! Whack it good!
Every one else - Thanks for your help.
To all those on the fence of whether you should 1. write a check or 2. Do it your self. Only you can decide. It is nice to know what's under that hood !
Cheers again! :seeya :chevy

Get it tuned and you will be unbearable.
Congrats.
If I could ever get the time to finish a little project of mine, I'll have some software that will help the DIY-er tune their own car. Check it out when you have a few free minutes:

Again man, hats off to you. I did my own heads/cam/tons of other stuff/ install myself and it's a GREAT feeling knowing that you got a job done w/ your own two hands. Fellow forum member and good friend, C5Noir, helped me w/ tech support via IM and e-mail, so I know all about having someone around to turn to when you need the help.
I'm doing my own audio install now, and I'm learning stuff that I never knew about, so the mods/DIY jobs never end! I'm just glad this car is so fun to work on! ;)
 to ya man, you deserve the credit - especially since you had to go in and fight the pulley twice!
Oh yeah, Phil did you a big favor turning you on to TEA. I live about 1.5 hours away from them, and I've visited their shop more than a few times, and they are top-notch. I'm running their 5.3L Stage II heads, and they friggin' rock. Good choice... how do ya' like that thunder bump-stick? :yesnod:
